Jeremy's 8th Birthday Celebration

Master Cool boy turned 8 on Feb 8 (hey.. what a coincidence! Timmy turned 6 on Jan 6 and Jerry turned 8 on Feb 8 this year!!)

Jeremy chose to have a celebration at the beach. Again, he decided to spend the day with his cousins. Activites include roller-blading, cycling and building sandcastles.. We had a tea-time picnic too (with sandwiches and chips!)

Boys busy building the sandcastles, with Auntie Anna's and Auntie Dalia's help.

A few of them enjoying the waves (hmm.. which one of them has the cutest butt?)

Tea time...

After the tiring afternoon at the beach, we headed to Sushi-Teh for dinner...

Boys patiently waiting for their food.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Families sharing your special day...

Timothy is 6!!

Our cute little boy turned 6 on Jan 6. This time, he chose how and where and with whom he would like to celebrate his special day with... (no longer need Mummy to ask...)

We spent the sunday afternoon at the Fidget (at Turf City). It is an indoor playground. He invited his cousins along...

Dinner was at Swensen's...

Look at this cheeky expression! Simply love him right? (not for the Ah-Pek legs though)

Trip to HK and Macau (Dec 2008)

As this was the first time mummy and kids were going to HK, we were very excited.....its HK! The country with lots of food, entertainment and shopping!! (or so they say)....
Below sums up how we felt after the trip:
To Daddy, its work during the trip... so, its not as relaxing and fun.
To Mummy, its tiring, having to move around with 2 active boys. And the biggest disappointment? egg tarts are not in abundance! in fact, we ate egg tart only ONCE in Macau!
To Grandpa and Grandma, nothing new for them, but, hopefully it is good enough for them to be able to see Uncle Cher Wee and Aunt Ruby.
To boys, its superb at HK Disneyland and Macau!
====================================================================
Our first stop was a 2-nights stay at the Disney Hollywood Hotel. This hotel has everything catered for the little ones... toiletries, TV programmes, plastic cups and cute bedroom slippers. But food here was really disappointing. We had a "simple" lunch and for dinner, we were thankful for Uncle Cher Wee and Aunt Ruby. They brought us to this nice restaurant not too far away and we ate this delicious lamb stew.. Yummy.. Jeremy and Timothy.. glued to the TV.. early in the morning...

Disneyland was fun.. It was not too crowded and we did not have to queue a long time for the rides. The night performance was nice too, especially with the snowfall.. Picture below was taken while waiting for the fireworks display...

There was a particular ride that we all loved... Astro-Blasters.. The boys took this ride at least 10 times!!
Jeremy had a score of 999,999.. this is the maximum score that it could display!!!
The interesting thing about this ride is that it attracts not only the young!! Do not know what i mean?? Look below...
Even Grandpa and Grandma enjoyed it!

Our next stop was another 2-nights stay. This time, at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. This hotel is simply HUGE, and very nice... we all loved it! Below are some pictures of us "wowing" over the hotel room...

Beautiful pool but it was too cold to swim in there!

Macau is a gambler's dreamland.. ever wonder what the kids can enjoy?? well.. its the CUBE.. This place is managed by the Venetian Hotel. It's like a small arcade cum amusement park.. Besides a couple of steep slides, they have x-box, Nintendo Wii, soccer table and computers to surf the net!... Kid's dreamland!! Jeremy and Timothy practically spent the entire 2 days there, breaking from that place just for meals. The only thing is they do not allow us to leave the kids there on their own. So, daddy and mummy needed to take turns to be there to watch over them. Below are two video clips of the boys on the slides.

Our last stop... back to HK. We stayed at Panaroma Hotel. This hotel was a vast difference from Venetian. We did not even have enough space to open up our luggages! There was no shopping or eating spree in HK.. We ate char siew noodles and fish ball noodles most of the time... sigh! But at least we get to enjoy the view at the Peak and also, managed to have a peek at the well-known Ocean Park.

Sunset at the Peak was beautiful. The unexpected reward there was the finding of our very own.. Andy Lau!!

Andy's brother? Cool right?

This was late afternoon at the Peak..
Beautiful sunset with beautiful smiles!

Great Neon lights... and freezing cold too....

Ocean Park was our last stop.. the place was quite boring. Very crowded and with long queues for almost all the rides.. Very steep slopes everywhere too.
